About WCBDD

The Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities operates a county agency providing direct and contracted services on a daily basis for residents of Washington County who are living with Developmental Disabilities, their families, and caregivers.

Our programs for individuals with developmental disabilities serve a wide range of age groups. From Early Intervention, to the aging population, we are able to provide services to support the lives and goals of individuals and families in Washington County.

Our organization values being open to new ideas, working on improving our services, meeting our commitments, displaying a level of understanding for those that we serve, recognizing our achievements as well as our challenges, respecting others, and having open communication.

We are dedicated to community integration for all people living with developmental disabilities.

Message from the Superintendent

I’m pleased to share the 2024–2027 Strategic Plan for the Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities (WCBDD). This plan reflects our ongoing commitment to building a strong, inclusive community for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Developed with input from individuals served, families, staff, providers, and community partners, the plan identifies our key focus areas for the next three years: financial stability, customer satisfaction, consistency, and employee engagement. Each goal includes clear objectives and measurable outcomes to help guide our work and track our progress.

We are proud of the work our team does to support over 700 individuals in Washington County. Our mission—to empower through personalized supports to enrich lives—remains at the heart of everything we do. Thank you to all who contributed to this effort. Together, we’re building a more inclusive and supportive community.

Sincerely,
Tiffany Neill
Superintendent
